Department: Communication Arts & Sciences

The Department of Communication Arts and Sciences’ fundamental commitment is to help students pursue their educational goals and, in particular, assist them in developing the communication skills they will need in their professional and personal lives. Faculty prepare students to continue study in a variety of fields including: communication studies including speech pathology; film and media studies; performing arts including theatre; and media and digital film production. The department also supports students through co-curricular activities including Theatre Workshop and the Media and Digital Film Club. The department produces theatrical productions and an annual student film festival.
