Generation of 1898

This course introduces students to the Spanish literary movement known as the Generation of 1898. Through readings, lectures, and written analysis, students will learn about the movement’s historical context, principal proponents, and lasting impact. In working towards these goals, students will refine their Spanish vocabulary and continue to develop their proficiency in reading, listening, and writing. This course is conducted in Spanish.
