Description
This course combines a practical introduction to college for first-semester students with an introduction to academic study. Students complete an integrated curriculum combining college readiness activities and assignments, frequent computer lab activities, and introductory-level study of selected topics drawn from across the disciplines. College readiness subjects include time management, communication strategies, utilizing online resources, study skills, stress management and goal setting, both academic and professional. Academic activities include assignments linked to General Education proficiencies such as Communication, Reasoning and Analysis, Information Literacy, and Personal Growth and Professional Development.
