This course will introduce students to the various electric vehicle systems on the market. Students will learn about electric motors, battery systems, inverters, controllers, and high-voltage cables. The course also focuses on safety and precautions around high-voltage systems. After completing this course, the student should be familiar with procedures to safely conduct an inspection, and service for all the related items in an electric vehicle.
