Literature and Culture of Puerto Rico

Description

This course aims to give students a comprehensive view of Puerto Rican culture and society. Through readings, lectures, and written analysis, students will learn about the evolution of Puerto Rican history, art, and culture from pre-colonial times to the present. In working towards these goals, students will refine their Spanish vocabulary and continue to develop their proficiency in reading, listening, and writing. This course is conducted in Spanish.
