Spanish Language and Culture

Description

This course provides an overview of the history and cultures of Spain. Through lectures, discussions, and readings about representative literary texts and other forms of artistic production from the territory of modern-day Spain and the countries once under the Spanish Empire, students will broaden their understanding of the diversity of Spanish culture. In working towards these goals, students will refine their Spanish vocabulary and continue to develop their proficiency in reading, listening, and writing. This course is conducted in Spanish.
