Literature and Culture of the Spanish Caribbean

Description

This course aims to give students a comprehensive view of the culture and society of the Hispanic Caribbean. Through lecturers, discussions, and essays about representative literary texts and other forms of artistic production, students will learn about the evolution of the Hispanic Caribbean’s history from 1800 to the present. In working towards these goals, students will refine their Spanish vocabulary and continue to develop their proficiency in reading, listening, and writing. This course is conducted in Spanish.
